Councillor

Jason Nadeau

My name is Jason Nadeau and I am a dedicated and passionate community leader and volunteer. I have lived in and served in Neepawa actively in various capacities over the past decade.  Supported by my wife and three beautiful children, I am committed to working hard for you, the people of Neepawa.  I am patriotic, love my town and show it through volunteering and with community spirit (especially at Christmas).  Member of our local Citizen’s on Patrol, Lion’s Club, UCT, Soccer Coach/Manager, Figure Skating Board & Yellowhead Board keeps me involved in the community.

I work full-time as a Resource, Literacy, and Numeracy Consultant with Turtle River School Division.  I hold bachelor’s degrees in Education and Science (Biology) as well as two Master’s Degrees in Education.   I am honoured to have been recognized provincially for Excellence in my field (Teacher of Excellence Award).  In 2015, I was privileged to participate in the International Summit on the Teaching Profession in Banff, Alberta, representing Manitoba on the world stage.

Looking forward to working with the residents and members of Council to continue to grow and develop our Town.  I plan on being visible and available to speak with you and listen to your concerns.  Don’t hesitate to contact any member of council if you have any questions, comments or concerns.
