Canadian Navigable Waters Act
The Town of Neepawa hereby gives notice that a submission has been added to the Navigable Waters Registry pursuant to the Canadian Navigable Waters Act for public comment described herein and its site and plans.
Pursuant to paragraph 10(1)(b) of the said Act,
The Town of Neepawa has deposited with the Minister of Transport,
On the on-line Common Project Search Registry (http://cps.canada.ca/) under registry number 4750, a description of the following work, its site, and plans:
- construction and placement of a new single clear span bridge (18.0 m long, 7.2 m wide) known as Site #3 to replace an existing single-span steel deck truss bridge damaged beyond repair from a severe weather event in the summer 2020.
In, on, over, under through or across Stony Creek (a non-scheduled waterway) at the Town of Neepawa
in Southwest Section 28, Township 14, Range 15W, at Parcel A, Plan 35613 (NLTO) and Parcel 4, Plan 23709 (NLTO)
