Official Website of Town of Neepawa

Are you interested in finding more ways to divert your food waste from the landfill? You can now register for an opportunity to participate in the Town of Neepawa FoodCycler Pilot Program.

On April 5, 2022, Neepawa Town Council approved a FoodCycler pilot program to run in the summer of 2022 where 100 Neepawa households will be eligible to purchase a countertop composter at a discounted price of $175 + tax.

Registration for the Pilot Program is online and can be done by filling in the form below by July 11, 2022 at 11:00AM.
After registration closes, the Town will contact the first 100 registered households to participate.

What is a FoodCycler?

If selected to participate in the program, you will be agreeing to the following commitments:

  • Participation in the 12-week pilot program
  • Purchase a FoodCycler unit for $175 + tax
  • Completion of three (3) online surveys:
    • at the beginning of the program
    • at the end of the program
    • and 6 months after the program ends
  • Maintain and be fully responsible for the FoodCycler unit, during and after the pilot program, including the ongoing purchase of filters at about $70/year.

Only one (1) FoodCycler unit will be provided per household and you must be a resident of the Town of Neepawa to participate. Completing the registration form does not guarantee participation in the program. Only those chosen to participate in the 2022 FoodCycler Pilot Program will be contacted by the Town.
