The Flats are located at the bottom of the Brown Avenue hill. In the spring, summer and fall the soccer fields are utilized. In the winter time, an outdoor skating rink and skating oval have been constructed. Construction of various other projects at The Flats is ongoing. The Winter Wonderland Festival is held at the Flats each Louis Riel Day.
